Peter James – Non-Executive Chairman
Peter James is an experienced business leader with significant strategic and operational expertise. He has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial sector and extensive experience as a Chair, Non-Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer across a range of publicly listed and private companies.
He is currently Chair of ASX-listed companies including Macquarie Telecom, Nearmap, Ansarada and DroneShield. Mr. James recently completed 12 years as a Non-Executive Director of the ASX-listed iiNet, chairing iiNet’s strategy and innovation committee, culminating in a divestiture of iiNet for $1,560,000,000.
He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jourdan Thompson – Chief Executive Officer
Jourdan is the Chief Executive Officer of Halo Food Co.
Prior to joining Halo Food Co in 2017, Jourdan spent over 15 years in investment banking, finance, insolvency and restructuring both in Australia and Europe.
Working most recently as a director at Greenhill & Co’s Sydney office, he principally focused on strategic and advisory mandates for ASX200 clients.
He began his career at KPMG in the Corporate Recovery and Restructuring team, prior to moving to the Corporate Finance team at Ernst & Young, and has also worked for ING Investment Bank in London.
Jourdan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of New South Wales.
Danny Rotman – Chief Revenue Officer
Danny Rotman is Chief Revenue Officer of Halo Food Co. Prior to joining Halo Food Danny was the co-founder of Omniblend (a wholly owned subsidiary of Halo Food Co.) where he successfully oversaw significant growth in the Omniblend operation developing it into the go-to manufacturer for health and wellness products in Australia.
Danny has a proven track record of identifying and commercializing product innovation within the health and wellness industry and was key in developing Omniblend’s UHT bottling capabilities into PET bottles – the first of its kind in Australia.
Prior to founding Omniblend, Danny worked as a commercial lawyer with both Gadens and Rotman & Morris specialising in commercial law.
Danny is a qualified lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Law (Honours) from Monash University.
Andrew Reeves – Non-Executive Director
Andrew Reeves is a highly respected leader and strategist in FMCG with extensive exposure to public equity markets and brings invaluable experience to the Halo Food Co. Board and management team.
Andrew has more than 40 years’ experience in FMCG. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Inghams Group Ltd and prior roles have included Chief Executive Officer of George Weston Foods, Managing and Executive Director of Lion Nathan Limited (including Managing Director of Lion Dairy & Drinks), Managing Director Australia of Coca-Cola Amatil and Managing Director of The Smith’s Snack Food Company among others.
Mr. Reeves currently serves on the board of Inghams Group Ltd and he is a non-executive director of Credit Union Australia.
Heidi Aldred – Company Secretary
Heidi Aldred was appointed Company Secretary in December 2019. Heidi has over 20 years experience in company secretarial and general counsel roles in a wide variety of industries with both listed and unlisted companies. She has a focus on providing governance and compliance support. Her early career included working with legal firms Arnold Bloch Leibler and Allens Linklaters.
